Lorne works at building his Canadian corporation on a part-time basis. BRI imports automobiles to Canada, leases race cars & equipment and provides professional driving/racing coaching services.
2005 – Present President, Multi Line Marketing Inc (US Corporation)
Lorne works as a freelance, professional driver, facilitator, and project manager for several manufacturers & Fortune 500 companies such as: Porsche North America, BMW North America, Mercedes, Audi, Dodge, GM, Ford, Land Rover, Philip Morris, Pillsbury, Coca Cola, and Red Bull, just to name a few. In addition to this, Lorne also trains Navy Seals, Special Forces and other government agencies, how to execute specialized maneuvers and tactics at several military training facilities and bases in the US, Canada and abroad.
2005 – 2007 Owner, Decked Out Designs
Lorne custom designed and built decks, fences, pools, gazebos, and house renovations. From meeting with clients to drawing plans to pulling permits and building, Lorne worked all phases of this business from conception to completion of projects.
2003 – 2004 Professional Driver & Instructor, Dale Jarrett Racing Experience
Lorne was hired as an instructor and driver for this company which is run by the Jarrett family. The company provided driving instruction at several NASCAR tracks throughout the US. Lorne’s duties included opening talks, individual & group instruction and client entertainment.
2001 – 2002 Partner, No Limit Racing Adventures
Based in Indianapolis, this company
was developed to design, sell and facilitate custom corporate
entertainment with stock cars and go karts. In addition to
the daily running of the company, Lorne helped develop a CD Rom and
other advertising materials as well as developed and designed custom
client programs. Lorne was also responsible for managing staff and overseeing the events.
1998 – 2001 Lead Instructor, Skip Barber Racing Schools
Lorne worked as a lead instructor at each of this company’s four driving school locations throughout the US. As a lead instructor, Lorne was responsible for co-ordination of programs, management and direction of staff and equipment, student evaluations, and making sure that the mandated curriculum was adhered to.
1995 – 1997 Fabricator, Riley & Scott Race Cars
Lorne worked in the carbon fiber division fabricating a new nose for their Daytona Rolex 24-Hour winning race car.
1993 – 1997 Owner, Banks Racing & Tuning
Lorne ran this high performance shop specializing in the tuning of
street bikes, dirt bikes and snowmobiles. The shop was equipped with
a full machine shop, including a lathe, mill, boring bar, press, and
head work equipment, along with snowmobile and motorcycle
dyno’s. The company installed turbo chargers, exhausts systems and
performed modifications. Along with the daily running of the shop,
Lorne also designed and manufactured a carburetion kit for snowmobiles
which he made the proto-type for the kit on a Monarch 10EE Tool & Dye
Lathe.
